Hawthorne, a multi-family residential display home in Vancouver, BC, showcases playful and inventive design.

Completed in 2018, this project exemplifies clever solutions and invites viewers to imagine the creative possibilities within simple IKEA furniture pieces. Besta units are transformed into a feature wall using tambour wall panelling, plywood open boxes, curated artwork and layered styling. Basic IKEA beds are reimagined using custom upholstery, millwork elements, bespoke wallcoverings and tactile bed linens.

The approachable and crisp aesthetic is blended with elevated accessories, artwork and linens and results in a cohesive and memorable experience.
