Princess Home included a complete renovation of all key zones within the home. The palette is infused with white oak hardwood, soft white and mushroom laminate, warm grey quartz, muted ceramics, and tactile felt. The materials were chosen to imbue a sense of ease and durability for daily family use.

Custom millwork was designed throughout, featuring open shelving to create moments of curation and extensive closed storage to allow toys and clutter to disappear.

The dated 90s interiors were refreshed with the intentional use of simple materials, striking a balance between playful and elevated details. Functionality and storage were prioritized, ensuring the family home felt both beautiful and organized. Custom millwork enhanced the aesthetic and maximized storage, providing practical solutions for the family's needs.

Completed in February 2023, The Princess Home exemplifies Melling Studio’s high-low approach to design – a philosophy of clever value engineering that results in a balanced, welcoming spatial experience.
